Just as the spring fidgets were taking over, I found an affordable b&b in the village of Deer Isle on Deer Isle island on coastal Maine.  Earlier visits to this quintessentially Maine place made me want to explore more thoroughly.  

Spring is a nice time to be there, for sure.
