The pieces on this page are all scanned from film.  Some are negative and some positive.  The earliest one, of the Mississippi river in western Wisconsin, was the third photograph I took which I thought was "good"  The first one was of my mother, and I suppose I should put it here, too.  It has taken me a long time to think of photographs of people the same way I think of ones of the landscape.  A stint at the local paper worked my mind open a bit on that one.  The color in the second one was badly degraded in storage and not possible to reconstruct.
